30-minute consultation with a BAMS-qualified Ayurvedic Physician
The BAMS qualification signal is important for two reasons: it distinguishes this consultation from Ayurveda-inspired lifestyle coaching (which is common online and unregulated), and it lifts trust for medical-adjacent queries.

What This Consultation Is ?
A 30-minute one-to-one video consultation with a BAMS-qualified Ayurvedic physician from our Kerala retreat team. Focused on you - your dosha, your current state, your digestion, your diet, and how classical Ayurvedic principles apply to your daily life right now.
This is a physician-led consultation, not a lifestyle coaching session. Our doctors have full medical training in the classical Ayurvedic tradition and years of clinical practice at the retreats. You get advice grounded in real practice, not general wellness commentary.

What the Physician Will Assess
In 30 minutes, a focused consultation typically covers:
-
Your prakruti - your Ayurvedic constitution, the mix of Vatha, Pitha and Kapha you were born with
-
Your vikruti - where you are today, and any imbalances your body is currently signalling
-
Your current diet and digestion - what you eat, how it sits, when you feel most and least well
-
Your daily routine - sleep, movement, work rhythm, and how these interact with your food
-
Your specific concern - if you have brought one to the consultation
What Works Well in 30 Minutes
-
A dosha assessment and personalised food guidance for your prakruti.
-
Guidance on digestive concerns - irregularity, bloating, sluggishness, food sensitivities.
-
Seasonal dietary adjustments (ritucharya) as the seasons change
-
A review of your current diet to check for food combinations that Ayurveda considers incompatible (viruddhahara).
-
Guidance on which of our Ayurvedic medicines from the catalogue may support your case, and how to use them.
-
A specific question about pregnancy, postnatal, perimenopause or a life-stage dietary shift.
-
A check-in every one to three months to keep your plan calibrated.
Focused topics that fit well into a single session:
What Does Not Fit in 30 Minutes
Being clear so you book the right format:
-
A comprehensive medical intake with a complex health history - that would need a longer or multi-session format.
-
A full panchakarma treatment planning session - that is done in-person at the retreats.
-
Substitute care for a serious medical condition - Ayurveda complements conventional medicine here, it does not replace it.

Who This Consultation Is For ?
-
Anyone who wants a personalised Ayurvedic diet plan built around their own body, not a generic one from a book or app.
-
Anyone with a specific digestive concern - irregularity, sensitivity, bloating, sluggish digestion.
-
Anyone experiencing dosha imbalance signs - tiredness, sleep disturbance, dryness, restlessness, heaviness.
-
Yoga practitioners wanting to align their diet with their practice.
-
Anyone starting one of our online yoga memberships and wanting the diet and lifestyle side sorted too.
-
Retreat guests continuing their protocol at home.
-
Anyone unsure whether they need Ayurveda or general nutrition advice - the consultation can help you decide.
What Comes After
Important Notes
Everything happens within the session. You leave with clear, practical takeaways — the dietary guidance discussed, adjustments for your dosha and the season, and any Ayurvedic formulations from our catalogue the physician recommends. There's no formal report; the value is the focused, physician-led guidance you can act on immediately.
This is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a serious health condition, please continue any prescribed treatment. Our physicians will complement your care, not replace it. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: the consultation is well-suited to these life stages. Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle guidance is particularly useful when the body is changing week by week. If you are taking conventional medication, please share the full list in your intake. Some Ayurvedic herbs interact with specific medications, and the physician will guide accordingly.
How the Consultation Works ?
You book a time using the calendar on this page. Before the consultation you will receive a short intake questionnaire covering your health history, current diet, current concerns and any medication you take. On the day, you join a Zoom call with the physician. The first few minutes are review of your intake and hearing your specific concerns. The rest of the session is assessment, dietary guidance and a clear set of takeaways. You will leave with concrete recommendations to implement, not just theory
Why Book an Ayurveda & Diet Consultation
Not lifestyle coaches or Ayurveda enthusiasts. Our physicians have full medical training in the classical Ayurvedic tradition (five and a half years of BAMS, often followed by MD-level specialisation) and years of clinical practice at the retreats.
BAMS-Qualified Physicians
Actual Personalisation
Not a dosha quiz result and a generic food chart. The physician assesses your prakruti, your current state, your specific concerns - and gives you dietary guidance shaped by all of those together.
Real Clinical Experience
Connected to the Whole Range
Our physicians consult daily with retreat guests at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort, Rockholm and Park Am See. You get advice grounded in thousands of hours of real patient practice, not general wellness commentary.
If the consultation surfaces a need for Ayurvedic medicines, the doctor can point you to specific formulations from our doctor-curated catalogue. If diet is only part of the picture, they can suggest a matching yoga class or cooking session.
