Nattika Life
Nattika Life is the wellness and lifestyle extension of Nattika Ayurveda Retreats. It was created to support continuity in Ayurvedic care, allowing the principles, practices, and discipline experienced at the retreat to be carried into everyday life.
Rooted in classical Ayurveda, Nattika Life brings together therapeutic formulations, daily rituals, professional guidance, and structured learning. It was established to ensure that the principles practiced at the retreat, including personalized care, consistency, and respect for natural rhythms, remain accessible beyond the duration of a stay.
Origins and Foundation
Nattika Ayurveda Retreats in Kerala are known for physician-led Ayurvedic programmes where care is planned in a structured way, starting with consultation and followed by daily therapies delivered by trained therapists under medical supervision. Over years of working with guests, the team observed that outcomes were strongest when treatments were supported by the same elements practised at the retreat every day, including routine, diet prescribed to constitution, therapeutic oils, yoga and breathwork, and a calmer rhythm of living.
Nattika Life grew from this understanding. It was formed as a dedicated Ayurveda and herbal company to support continuity, allowing individuals to maintain therapeutic practices, routines, and guidance after returning to their own environments.
Formulations and Production
Nattika Life operates an in-house Ayurvedic oil and herbal production facility in Thrissur, Kerala. The facility produces over thirty classical Ayurvedic oils using traditional preparation methods, under the direct supervision of Ayurvedic physicians. Raw materials are sourced from trusted cultivators and carefully selected regions known for medicinal potency, including areas close to the Western Ghats.
All formulations follow classical Ayurvedic texts and established preparation methods. We pay close attention to seasonality, how ingredients work together, and the intended purpose of each product. Because production is managed in-house, we are able to maintain consistent quality, clear sourcing records, and a strong link between physician guidance at the retreats and how products are used in daily routines.
Nattika Essence
Alongside classical formulations, Nattika Life created Nattika Essence to bring aromatherapy into the Ayurvedic framework. The range includes essential oil blends, massage oils, and aroma candles, developed with an understanding of dosha balance and the natural characteristics of botanicals.
Each blend is created with a clear purpose. Some are warming, some cooling, some drying, and some calming. The choice depends on an individual’s constitution and what they need at that time. At the retreats, these blends are used in everyday wellness routines and recovery settings, helping shape the atmosphere of rest and regulation, not simply adding fragrance.
Relationship with the Retreats
While Nattika Life extends the retreat philosophy into daily life, the retreats themselves remain central. They continue to be places where Ayurveda is practised in its most complete form, through time, observation, routine, and guided care.
Guests often arrive seeking relief from chronic conditions, stress, or fatigue. What many carry back is not only therapeutic benefit, but also a clearer understanding of balance and a desire to live with greater awareness. Nattika Life exists to support that transition.
Purpose
Nattika Life is not positioned as a standalone product brand or a wellness trend. It functions as a continuation of clinical practice, grounded in experience, discipline, and tradition.
Its purpose is simple and specific. It exists to make authentic Ayurvedic living possible beyond the retreat, in a way that is informed, consistent, and respectful of both tradition and individual needs.
